Are you a thankful person? Most would say yes, but real gratitude shows up in our lives. This brief video describes people who live thankful lives and asks us to think again about our own heart response to God’s good gifts. What are you thankful for?
At the end of June we were priveliged to welcome Christian band ‘Brightline’ in to school to perform some of their amazing songs and to speak to us about self esteem. Here’s one of our favourites:
The chapel is open every other lunchtime and breaktimes with various activities to dip in and out of. We have Movie Mondays and Connect on Wednesdays and local youth workers in to speak on a series of topics on Fridays, and much more! On a Wednesday breaktime we have Soul Space, where we take time out to reflect and pray on our own. Friday mornings between 8 and 8.30 we serve hot chocolate and toast, which is particularly popular in these cold months. You are more than welcome to join us!
Lifeteen – this is a brilliant website with loads of interesting blogs to read about Christian responses to things going on in our world.
CAFOD – at School we raise a lot of money for CAFOD. Check out how you can get more involved in bringing about justice
YOUCAT – this bright website allows you to find anything that you would like to know about the youth catechism of the Catholic Church and related events. You can download the free DOCAT app which is ace!
NYMO – Northampton Youth Ministry Office have a great website with info on things happening in the diocese, resources, gap year opportunities and much more
Cast all your worries on Him because He cares for you.
