Parents & Guardians

Welcome to St Michael’s Catholic School which is a unique and distinctive catholic all-through school in Buckinghamshire educating young people between the ages of 3 and 19.

We are committed to the care and success of every pupil in a way that is rooted in the values of the gospel.

We expect pupils to set themselves high standards in their work, their extra-curricular activities and their relationships with others.

Pupil Attendance Matters

Every day matters and the aim has to be 100% attendance. Steps to achieving this are:

  • only grant days at home for really genuine illness
  • know the routines of the timetable to avoid issues e.g. have they got their P.E kit? is all the homework done?
  • avoid taking holidays in term time
  • if you have any concerns at all please ring us

If your child is ill then please ring or e-mail the school on each morning of their illness. An
explanatory note to the form tutor is required for any absence, however short, on your
child’s return to school.

How Do I Get To Talk To Someone?

The first point of contact is your child’s Teacher/Tutor. He or she will always liaise with other Staff on your behalf to put you in touch with the best people to help.

To contact a Teacher/Tutor write to them at the school or email/telephone the general office and leave a message.
